Following early retirement and a hip replacement I found I needed a smoother ride if I was going to continue with my equestrian passion. Having ridden many breeds of horse and pony I began my search among the gaited breeds. I discovered the Pleasure Paso Fino. Truly this experience was like riding a horse on wheels. Furthermore, because of my capacities in art I was attracted to the Pinto Paso Fino as a living abstract masterpiece in motion.
It was at that point that I made a committment to this wonderfull breed. With my remaining "shelf-life" I set out to introduce as many people as possible to the paso fino experience, particularly to folks like myself with hip, back or knee problems who wished to extend an interest in riding. Of course this passion is expressed with Pinto Paso Finos!
Only later did I learn that the pinto paso traces it's ancestry to the people's horse of Puerto Rico thus explaining why this subset of the breed has such balanced disposition, ground covering gait and smooth ride--the all round people's horse.
Armed with a mission I set out to assemble a small herd of breeding mares that were also suitable for riding. My priorities were correct and smooth gait, temperment, quality breeding through recognized pedigree and last, the pinto colour.

Travelling accross Canada and into the USA I was able to find mares that fit my characteristics in Alberta, Tennessee and Georgia. The mares in the gallery embody my objectives. We have recently added a Top 10 Sire (2001,2009) to our herd with the acquisition of Springtime Radiante.
