SD FIESTA de ATARDECER
Fiesta (born 2001 by Palvorin Elegante out of SD Bandolera de Estrella) is a wonderfully smooth gaited all purpose mare, forward and willing with a good corto and a ground covering largo. She has done hours of trail riding, including rugged camping out, showing in fairs, mounted games, is the horse to pony young horses on trail training, and is the go to demonstration horse for every newbie that sets foot on Artworks soil.
Impulsive comments like "Nothing prepared me for that smoothness...", "You're right...I don't need a bra!", "I haven't ridden in years and after 4 hours of trail nothing hurts!", "I haven't ridden in over 20 years and this feels wonderful..", "This is better than sex!!", fall from the lips of her admirers. Fiesta is the origin of my passion for Paso Finos.
HUILA DEL CARDO
Huila (born in 2003 by Spureco out of Caracalla de la Reina) has impressive foundation genetics from old pinto lines. She is a bold trail horse with very correct corto and powerful largo. When you ask for the transition the acceleration is smooth and impressive, leaving non gaited cantering horses in her wake. She is willing to lead or follow, go out alone or in a group and navigates bush and water obstacles with ease. She is now a proven producer.
HISPANOLA DEL CARDO
'Joon' (born 2003 by Quirinal del Cardo out of Gobernadora Americano CRD) is an eye catching granddaughter of the "horse of the millenium" Capuchino. She is fine boned, perfectly proportioned, diminutive and very responsive and loving. In addition to her quality Paso Fino lines she provides access to genetics for reds and chestnuts. Her gait is tight and quick. She is now a proven producer.
BRAVADA TM
Bravada (born 2004 by Regalo de Marichalo out of Canela la Caro) was the first mare selected for my breeding program. Regalo de Marichalo is one of the most established pinto sires, a two time National Champion pleasure stallion and is primarily of Peurto Rican bloodlines. This inheritance has contributed to Bravada's wonderful gait. She is a fun horse to ride with a great attitude and smooth correct gait that seems effortless. Bravada is a proven producer. She too is very bold on trail, will go out in a group or alone and tackles water and bush obstacles with ease.
MISS MEMPHIS TM
With a "Watch me!" attitude and a curiosity that leaves no stone unturned, no visitor ungreeted, Memphis fancies herself the 'Flag-horse' for Artworks. She is the horse that took me to Tennessee and is my second Paso Fino (born 2006 by Regalo de Marichalo out of Pais Montanas Allesandra). Regalo de Marichalo, is one of the most established pinto sires, a two time National Champion pleasure stallion and sire of several National Champions.
In her second year Memphis did hours on trail in the pony position, learning to navigate all rock, bush and water hazards imaginable. Very correctly gaited and with a natural collection she is demonstrating good curiosity, problem solving and learning ability.
Memphis is very level headed and a willing trail horse. She is the product of the Artworks Training Philosophy. At four she is 14-3H and still growing. She now gives demonstrations to new folks interested in the breed who are seeking a taller mount.
