Paso Finos
Artworks

Artworks was very involved with the historic 150th Cobden fair in August 2009. We participated in costume in the parade and with the help of several Paso Fino owners were able to put on a five horse demonstration of gait, games and sounding board rhythms. Five month old Artworks Starbuck peformed on the board to demonstrate that the natural Paso Fino gait is born not trained

Bookmark Program:
Originally developed in collaboration with Investors Group as a prize in their Ballot Box contest, Artworks continues to offer 'Bookmarks' which can be redeemed for a 'Learn to ride a Paso Fino" experience. If your Horse Charity Auction or Horse Club needs a prize or thank you gift let us know and we will be happy to mail you an Artworks Bookmark.

Artworks likes to have horses in local
Canada Day and Christmas parades,
local fairs and at fun events such as
Therapeutic Ride fund raisers and
Mounted Games demonstrations.
Watch for us in Cobden, Forester's
Falls, Merrickville, Spencerville,
Lindsay, Lanark and other locales.
Give us a call or an email to confirm
our participation. We look forward to
chatting with you and introducing our
horses.
Our mission is to help you age well and retire from the back of a Paso Fino.
Email, call for a chat, come for a visit, we would enjoy sharing our passion for Paso Fino horses with you.

2010 saw Artworks participate in the Central Canada PFHA Open House, the Merrickville Fair and the CCPFHA show and Fun Day.
At the Open House held at Forest Gait Farm the club learned a new game we dubbed Soccer-Hockey that was played with hockey sticks, an oversize ball and two goal nets. It was a hoot for Jo and Memphis.(pic)

Many folks new to Paso Finos came out to                                                                                                                       watch the horses perform and try their hand at                                                                                                                 demonstration rides.
Merrickville Fair had several Paso Fino classes                                                                                                              and Jo on Fiesta and Robert Darling on Orlando                                                                                                             were well turned out.

At the CCPFHA show  and fun day Jo had the pleasure of
riding Mercenerio de la Libertad and finished first in
Classic Fino as well as the completely different head-to-head
pole bending event. (2 pics) This stallion from Fina vista Farm
shows the versatility of the Paso Fino  as he was also  the
winner of the 2010 International Wind Rider  Competition,
when ridden by his owner Camilla Willings
