Artworks is very pleased and thankfull to announce the arrival of our first foal, a healthy, bay pinto colt on March 23/ 2009 out of Huila del Cardo and
sired by Designer Capuchino TM.
Despite barn inspection every 90 minutes the birth occured unseen by human eyes---Mother Nature just doing her job!
Huila is proving an excellent first time mom.
The young one, with a star on the forehead, a star on the left withers and a shooting star for a tail, with no bulls-eye, has claimed the name 'Starbuck'.
Time will tell if this fellow can also be a rising star.
He is already gaiting around the stall. We're off to a good start!
This colt didn't take long to introduce himself to the dog or to the local ladies!
Next to arrive was a colt "Artworks Pastel", sired by Curandero TM, who managed to miss both the tobiano and sabino genes and wears the color of his great grandad Capuchino, a very respectable chestnut. He too is sociable and from the length of his legs is going to be bigger than his mom Hispanola del Cardo.
The last to join the herd was "Artworks Riverscape", a third colt, sired by Carnival de Capuchino and out of Bravada TM a daughter of Regalo de Marichalo. This little guy seems to have read the same books as I have because so far he is doing everything by the book!"

"Foals for 2011: Artworks is pleased with the arrival of two healthy foals. A colt out of Doradilla del Mistico and sired by Tucson TM is a black and white pinto with correct gait and is going to be very tall. Genetic testing indicates that he is homozygous for both the tobiano and the black gene.
A filly out of Hispanola del Cardo, sired by Sprintime Radiante is our first coloured offspring of this two time top ten stallion.
This little girl is red and white and moves like a gazell with very correct gait.
