Because we are interested in providing smooth gaited horses for the mature, pleasure rider, who may have hip, back or knee issues, our horses are evaluated for smoothness and trail performance.
For those of you just starting to plan for leisure and pleasure riding, we offer "Foal Bonding" opportunities.
"Foal bonding" is the opportunity to spend time with your growing foal, yealing or two year old before it enters our pleasure riding training program. Horses suitable for this appraoch are listed on the 'Under 3 years old' page.
Horses that are already started or have completed their training are listed on the 'Over 3 years old' page.
When dealing with the pinto colour pattern, or Tobiano gene, exceptional quality of temperament and gait are paramount. Pinto pattern colour is the icing on the cake. Genetic knowledge as to whether a horse is homozygous (has two copies of the Tobiano gene) or heterozygous (has one copy of the Tobiano gene) help with breeding decisions. Since the gene is dominant it will be expressed if it is present. in North America there are only about 750 pinto Paso Finos with even fewer being homozygous for the pinto pattern gene.
Our breeding stock are carefully choosen for exceptional temperament and gait and when our babies are finished our training program you can be asssured about what you are getting.
